Hey, I've just bought this watch for a birthday present to myself (arrives on Tuesday 4th), to wear as an every day watch. I know some of the more snobish watch wearers on OCUK will criticise the quality my purchase, but I like the look of it. :p

My problem is that I have a very thin wrist, I'm talking 14 year old girl sized wrist. My last watch has links of titanium with a release that you squeeze at the sides (I don't know the name of the type of strap) and I had to get 8 links removed, leaving only 9 left.
I know there are a lot of watch enthusiasts here, I was just wondering if anyone you could link me to good quality watch straps (black leather) that will fit this watch and also fit my wrist?
I'm willing to spend upto £30 for it, I want it to be of good quality and not something that is going to snap after a month of use. :)

The guy on the review is very bad, a 5 year old could do better, I've only linked it so that you can see what I mean about the strap.

Could you not just put more holes in the strap that's already attached?

I've not tried it on yet, but I've got a feeling that the part that the buckle side is going to be too long for me.
It's hard to explain but if you imagine a watch on your wrist and it's facing you, the buckle would be on the side of my wrist (on top), the the other end of the watch.

Hmm.. how thin are your wrists!?

Is this you...

Actually, yes, they are that thin. :P

I got ill last December and lost a lot of weight over 6 months of throwing up. I was already underweight at the time (8.5 stone) but I got down to 6.5 stone, thankfully I'm well again and slowly putting on weight again.

My wrist size is pretty much only bone/muscle width, I've just measured my old wrist watch strap length and it's 11cm + the sides of the watch.

Alternatively buy a womens strap, because them wrists do look like they can handle a mans strap.

Haha, not as easy as that. I've been ill for 6 months and I'm still recovering. I'm now on a strict diet by a dietician at the hospital to regain all my body weight. :p

Do womens straps fit this kind of watch in thickness?

I don't know, try it .

A big watch wont go with your wrist anyway regardless of the strap.

Punch a new hole in your existing strap? Buy a children's strap?

It was the length of the buckle side strap that has be concerned, the other side I can just punch a hole in and cut and sew the excess.

I don't know, try it .

The watch is only 40mm in diameter so fits. I'm gonna go to H.Samuels when it arrives and see if they have any spares for childrens watches that I can buy.

I have a thin wrist, and I wear a massive watch, leather strap and all. Don't see an issue.
