Ten Epic Fails from 2010

Its amazing how many internet memes like "epic fail" and such like become mainstream.

Half of them started on 4chan as well.

Jesus, it's one thing to change a few words here and there from a wikipedia article, but isn't it a bit obvious doing it to the previous post? ;)

Just trying to think of what other meme went mainstream.

I guess this doesnt quite count as its not exactly reached the point of being used in everyday language, but it made ABC news so that will do for me.

The "Double Rainbow"

Does Text Speak Count ? Usher's OMG was proof that OMG has reached mainstream usage, if not more an evolution of the language rather than a meme. But it started on the internet so nevermind.

2 Girls 1 Cup certainly did, Sky 1 did a TV show that featured a video of people reacting to what they only referred to as "that video" but strangely everybody knew which video they were referring to.

We had all the girls in the office pretending to be sick with that, i know they loved it really :D

The problem with it going mainstream is that by the time marketing companies catch on the meme is already a few years old online, which makes it poor!

That image is wrong. LOLcats were around on SomethingAwful (referred to as "Cat Macros") long before 4chan even existed.

The memes list image doesn't mention All Your Base Are Belong To Us which was from the year 2000. That thing was huge!
