Best socket 1156 air cooled heatsink & fan under £60?

ive got an arctic cooler freezer 7 pro rev.2 and it is perfect for under 20 quid keeps my i3 at high 20s idle :D

The Titan Fenrir Evo seems to be better than the Freezer 7 according to one of the customer reviews, I'm leaning towards that or the Akasa Venom then at the moment, any other suggestions or opinions on these?

Btw Sgt Tackleberry, you seem to have the exact same CPU and RAM I plan to get, how are you finding that setup?

I stick by my suggestion of the Titan Fenrir Evo, that is the one that seems to get the most recomendtions round here, plus its slighly cheaper at the mo:)

I find it really good for gaming, i play black op on the max setting and get a fps of 130+, crysis max setting of a fps of 50. For Internet browsering really fast. This all depends on what graphics card you are getting, I have the 5850 but I'm thinking of upgrading to 6950 in the next few months. All in all very good system and love it..
Get the venom CPU cooler with another viper for push n pull and AS5 paste and you will not be dispointed trust me.

Cool, I won't be using it for gaming, will be using it for music production, so I assume it will still be pretty good for that, I guess the graphics card only makes a difference for gaming.

I've seen the Noctua NH-D14 for less than £60. If you really want to push the OC. If you're not overclocking, don't bother and get something a lot cheaper, like £20.

If you want to push the cpu, you'll want to be shopping around for the Noctua NH-D14 or Thermalright Silver Arrow, but be warned, they're big! If you're more limited for space, the Megahalems is a very impressive cooler.

If, however, you don't want to push the cpu much, save some cash and spend about £20 instead.

This! But the Thermalright Venomous X instead of the Megahalem if space is an issue.
