No, you seem to worry me.

You're right that other 10 year olds are not getting pregnant because of good up-bringing. However, education can only provide with the information for making choices. Regardless whether the choice was good or bad is another matter, the conclusion is that a decision was made.

Stop blaming the kids? Well should I blame God because obviously he made some boys and girls have the ability to reproduce at the age of 10.

The reason? Who knows, Rape used to be a common law offence which are set up "since time immemorial" so I can only guess (and its just a guess) that, if anyone was as an unwilling participant in sex, it would be the woman.

What would you guys recommend the government do.

Or more important what the parents can do.

I.e internet censoring, monitoring kids closely on computer and stoping them watch eastenders

Yes the law is a bizarre thing, to me, sexual assault by penetration is rape, biological penis or not.

yes, you can, when the time is right. at 10 years old all they should need to know is 'don't talk to strangers'. keep them away from the scum bags and let their education in school subjects and normal activities for a 10 year old take precedent so they can have an enjoyable and innocent youth.

JLS condoms is an example of young target audience of kids being sexualized.

At no point did I state, or try to imply from my posts, that other forms of sexual assault other than Rape were any less harmful to the person being assaulted.

I merely stated the definitions of rape as some people either ASKED or did not appear to know. Didn't realise it would upset people or lead them to say I was "being idiotic" :confused:

Parents should know what their 10 yr olds are doing, no excuse. What they are watching, who they play with etc is a small part of the larger picture, which i'm afraid most parents are failing at.
I'm not saying disown the kids but when parents happily parade infront of cameras for the tabloids, makes it an aceptable thing.

You would be a bad parent if you followed your own advice. When you do have a kid though you'll understand.

You need to let kids be free to be kids. And if that means in a country with a population of 60mil people that 3 10 year old girls get pregnant every year then so be it.

I don't hear you shrieking about broken arms, broken legs, broken necks. About kids dying when playing. It happens, and it's just pat of life. It doesn't mean we have to be happy about it, or that we should give up trying to control those risks. But it does mean that we have to accept that some bad things will happen, it isn't always societys fault, it can't always be prevented and it's not always the parents fault.

Parents should try their best to keep an eye on their kids, but they cannot wrap them in cotton wool forever. You're proposing to have kids with no childhood.

Oh yes they do, from the very ones they met at nursery. However, each child developes differently. yet every friend is still a friend right thru to seniors/locality. & you can't suddenly stand back & decide "oh he's no good, she's no good years later". You have to let them choose their own friends. & if one turns out to be a bad apple who get's your child pregnant without you realising are you going to condemn yourself as a bad parent who needs parental classes & should be put down by people such as higher beings such as yourself? Agreed but the law is an arse

In Scotland, they changed the law in Dec 2010 so that Rape not only included mouth and anus as well as vagina but also included the previous crime of Sodomy (male on male) under the same heading. So up until just over 31 days ago, male's couldn't (LEGALLY) be Raped in Scotland

It appears to have been changed in E&W in 2003 (used to be called Buggery)

I agree with this to some extent but how far do you go? Lets make our kids hidden away & future targets. & also, don't assume that some young child who got another young child pregnant is a scumbag.

Yes but you can wrap them up until age of consent.

Until a child in mentally mature to make sensible decisions.
