New year and new flat, just thought I would share.

Actually, my sister paid £680 for a HUGE place in the centre of Cardiff at Admiral House, on Newport Road, White tower not far from Sainsbury. It had 2 bedrooms (one ensuite), another bathroom, balcony, was on sale at £160k when the property prices fell, and £300k at it's peak. The landlord could not afford the repayment and was repossessed so the bank became the landlord for a while and if i had the money i would definitely consider it. It was HUGE! (for a flat)

Very very cool pad, but -10000 man points for having such a silly small tv.

Get a projector or a 50incher at least :p
 
Thats fricking fantastic mate, I would LOVE to live in something like that. I've aways wanted an upstairs that hangs over the downstairs!

Thing is I don't want to rent somewhere, I see it as paying somebody else's mortgage! :(

Saving for a house sucks!
How did you find the flat? Just using rightmove?

I want a bigger tv, just need to save some funds for one. :p

Just used rightmove and other rental websites, I was lucky really as I wasn't even supposed to look at this one but the one I was booked in to see had gone so they told me that this one had come on that day, I went to look at it the next day and was the first person to view it and just took it.

Good man, I shall restore your points total seeing as it is in the pipeline and you have an Alpha car!

Loving the shower and funky bath, plenty of fun times to be had in there with bubbles and champage...... Obviously not enjoyed alone :)

How many flats/apartments are in your block?

I've always wondered how the hell you manage to get all your furniture up the stairs/lift? That sofa seems pretty big! (Even when it's broken down it must be quite chunky!!)

Are you saving for your own place on the side, or not even considering that?
 
seriously nice place. it looks like a lot of fun, i can imagine friends coming over to play pool/watch flicks. better keep that fridge stocked up :)
