I saw him getting off the same train as me at Birmingham New Street, no one else seemed to notice it was him as he was dressed very casually.

A sad loss. A very engaging and likeable actor. Just seen him in two films in the last week - Inception and Solomon Kane. Amazingly prolific in TV and film - imdb filmography has 145 entries since 1975.
