Benefits of water cooling over air..

just went from h50 , temps in benching was around 68c max, been using water cooling last 4 days, max temps in benching now are 52-54 max, so big drop for me, looked at some of those kits from swifttech as well, but decided to buy custom parts. 1 thing would say, when u enter the custom part, it aint cheap, almost £300 now.
but if cooler temps you are after w/c the deffo way to go

If you go to a specialist watercooling store you'll more likely be able to pick up a decent kit with high quality parts, when I first went WCing I got a kit from a competitor which consisted of:

18W Laing pump
XSPC reservoir top
Heatkiller 3 CPU waterblock
Thermochill PA-360mm radiator
1/2" barbs throughout
Mastercleer tubing 3/8" inner diameter (you simply heat the end up with boiling water and then slide it on the barbs for a solid fit).

I even added a GPU block and two extra barbs to the kit.

The only problem I had with that kit was the Feser coolant it came with which later started clogging the cpu block... given a time machine I'd have just used distilled water straight from the off.

Would echo what mmj said, go to a specialist store and research the parts you want. Dont just ask for a list of items from some-one(forum), it has to be your choice. Find the right parts for you build, google afew reviews for the expensive kit, or items you not too sure off, and if still not at ease by all means ask around this forum or other watercooling site forums. Bay far the best way to decide on your kit is to find a similar build/project to what you want and mirrior some of the hardware choices, a straight copy of the hardware wont work unless it's the exact same case/hardware etc.

As a kinda guide, my second watercooling attempt i did with second hand parts from MM on these forums. This project is in my sig, and if i remember right it cost no more than around £240-£250, but you can only buy second hand when you know the item/s your after.

And once done its quieter, looks fantastic, and can keep all your hardware cool, which for me was great as i could then go crazy with overclocking knowing that my gpu and cpu would be able to handle the overclock (saving me buying a 6*** series ati card or a 4** series nvida card)

Hope that helps :)

XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir & Pump
EK Supreme LT CPU Waterblock - Nickel Acetal
EK CoolStream Radiator XT 240
1/4" BSPP - 1/2" Hose Tail XSPC - Chrome x6 From another site (better then the Ek ones ocuk stock.) They are on that site i linked to u earlier
Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing x3
Di-ionized water (car battery water) from Halfords
