Im really racking my brain as to which is better, do i intake or exhaust using the fans? Ive got a Antec 902 case with a big exhaust fan at the top of the box, corsair say intake, but ive seen a lot of people say exhaust.

Exhaust will be better for case temps, and will keep the airflow good.

Intake will mess up the case airflow, and hinder case temps, also if u have a gfx that exhausts out the back, that heat will rise and get sucked in.

Thats why most say best to use as exhaust.

Just tried it using an exhaust it seems to be about 3c higher than intake.

Suppose if it aint broke don't fix it, intake it is then, i have a big 200mm fan taking air out of the top of the case anyway.:)

i was thinking of changeing mine to exaust as it pulls all the dust into the case.....and 3 degrees increase will be nothing really ......either this or ive got to invest in a couple of filters as im cleaning the case every couple of weeks as i hate even the smallest amount of dust appearing on my psu....i was amazed after 2 weeks just how much dust these fans pulled into my case........

go exhaust every time, put a fan filter on the push me fan to prevent dust building up on your radiator and reducing cooling ability.

Or just scrap the whole thing and sell it and buy £30 air cooler and watch your CPU temps drop by about 8c which is what I did......

Lol, not an option, but thanks for the help;), i shall stick with intake, not much dust on the rad, do like the lower temps too.

what temps are you getting with your H70 with your 950 OC @4gig ?

Im running the same setup as you ie H70 and i795@ 4gig 1.232V only difference is im not running fans as intake .

I get Idle around 41 and load 77 with prime95

seems a bit high and has been stressing me out I have tried re doing the thermal compound so many times that the artic clean fluid has wiped all the writing of the cpu lol

exhaust for me saves me 5c in max temp load in prime95 so i would say that way is best i have a ntec 1200 case so the cooling is pretty decent (i have tested both ways for 2 months each and can confirm this,
