If China or Russia become militarily stronger than the west

I think people need to come to terms with the fact that China will eventually become the pioneer of new technology and science. Just like they have done previously for 3000 years.
 
The real reason to be scared of China is their cyber-warfare divisions. Shut down a country's infrastrucure, and you can kill them without firing a shot.

Agreed. Historically it is the East, not the West that is technologically advanced. We are now experiencing an economic and technological adjustment. I've had many discussions with my wife over this (who ironically is from asia) and she won't agree to move the family. But if it were up to me I'd seriously be considering a move eastward... not for me, but for my children.

When China's manufacturing economy restructures (for what ever reason) to not be the West's "crap factory" then we will have WW3 and we will looooooooooooooose.

F-35 is not that good its multi role plane, jack of trades master of none, Russian air technology is very good simply and effect. If the F-35 went up vs a fighter jet I'm sure it would find it hard to hold its own in dog fight.

Indian and Russia partnership has been going on for while India very good at software. Also the Russian missile technology is considered to the best in the world, look at the F-117 that was downed in Serbia using 1960s soviet SAM (The serbs did to some tinkering) Also the Topol M and the space program.

that was more down to the cunning of the commander than the missiles when you read it.

But more importantly why would these countries want a war with the west?

It's military and economic suicide for everyone involved and for what gain?
 
Given how little we know about China, the vast growths they have experienced continuously in GNP terms, and their ethics, I think it would be a fool that would underestimate China.

Obviously it's not in their interest to start a fight, but I reckon give it 10+ years and they would be able to finish one.

The rigid authoritarian system they have in place has NO regard for human lives so could be considered a totally new enemy. Sort of like stopping suicide bombers :p

I don't think they would go to war, like you said suicide, if china wanted to they could demand the money back lent to usa but if they did that would crush the us economy and bring chinas down to there both giants and they need each other atm..
