any help will be appreciated

if i could i would but the sandy bridge option is just to much on the bank,

This makes the Core i5 760 instantly better value than any current Sandy Bridge CPU. £140 to £150 for a Core i5 760 and a motherboard is great value IMHO! :D

all i need is RAM £40-45
cpu £140-150

thats all i need to get the system running then i can buy a psu and gpu when it starts getting power hungry

will i need a branded psu for that system before i start overclocking and a gtx 460 ???

as long as the psu meets power requirements and fittings it will run but don't skimp for sake of it. its your pc tho mate. £40 ram is doable. maybe leave a note on the forum
asking about stock??

Hm, I also have concerns about this.

Have been thinking of saving up for a gaming, (well emulation) sff and was gonna go i3/i5.

But by the time I have the cash, looks like they may be gone :-\

Will be on a budget also and not even sure if sandy is a good idea for sff's anyway?, (temps-wise)

Is it worth getting cpu/mobo soon as i can? Think even 1156 i5 may be overkill for emulation,so sandy would prob be wasted anyway.
