Help! :p

My wifes Macbook has been having a lot of problems recently so this evening I've started to attempt a rebuild.

Locate O/S disc that came with the Macbook....Check
Delete original partition.....Check
Wait ages whilst O/S disc verifies itself and installs.....
Insert disc 2..........WHAT?!?! THERE'S A SECOND DISC NEEDED????

So yep I can't find the second flippin disc (shame the re-install didn't point this out before I started with the delete).

Now can this second disc be downloaded from anywhere?

Alternatively if I give up with the OSX install can I install Win7 without needing any other apple discs?

Cheers.

Aye don't have that disc anywhere. Anyway finally found out how to quit the installer (seeing as the quit option doesn't actually work), now installing Win7 until I can source a replacement disc.

It's only iLife. When you install OS X, just deselect the iLife stuff and you'll be OK.

I think it's the 'Applications Install DVD' (Just had a check in my pack and thats the only two in there...)
Just got your trust email, did reply but bounced back stating your email accout as inactive.

Thanks for the offer anyway, I've now got Win7 half working on it, still trying to sort out the x64 drivers for trackpad etc. Then I'll decide whether to get OSX back on it or not.

Ok sounds worth a try thanks, although will leave it a few nights before trying as I've now spent way too much time getting this thing up and running.
