I find foreigners no more annoying than the English people on servers to be honest.

Once you get over the insults such as Brits apparently having bad teeth and the crumpets and tea remarks they're not a bad bunch. Though most Americans that I've played with have been pretty gobby.

I've noticed it and so have many others, french and russians have a set game style that annoy a lot of people not just us brits. Ask the americans or even some of our other euro players. Russians are also well known for being pirates,hackers n crackers just look at the list.

He's kinda right, though. I don't hate Russians at all, but there is obviously a stand-out culture among their gamers that hacks more than other nationalities. The stats from the above link prove it, currently.
In all my years gaming online they are the ONLY community that I've noticed are particularly unfriendly, selfish and uncaring on the whole.
Ive found for the most part the UK players are the most angsty and immature with no intent of team play in a public game ... though public games are generally just full of idiots anyway no matter where they are from.
Perhaps people are just looking at their own country with rose tinted glasses, every country has their fair share of idiots and im happy to bet that i could find people from any european country that would beat you at your chosen game.

Not sure on that, been playing left 4 dead 2/bfbc2 and noticed plenty of team play from the brit side. Though i tend to notice the dutch or americans being higher up the stats

Well, i play Forgotten Hope 2 more than anything, which is made up of 95% players from the continent, and after 500hrs, 18mths playtime, i can tell you for a fact that more players from Russia have been exposed as hackers and cheats in general, and therefore banned, than any other nationality....wouldnt trust an online Russian..at all, cheating seems to be part of their nature, no shame about it at all.
I even have a go at them in my FH2 video (end credits).....
Fairest players i've come across in the FH2 community are the Germans overall....

UK gamers are every bit as bad as any other country, and worse than quite a few. We struggle to put good teams together because anyone half decent has an ego the size Dara O'Briains head. That or we're just a bunch of community clans that "play for fun", yet rage when they lose.
It's not Xenophobia at all.
Gamers can culturally be quite different and saying they have collective traits is not racist. I don't hate any of the people I play with on L4D2.
We usually play 3 up with 1 random and we all usually have great fun.
Scandinavians are usually great fun, are a good laugh and receptive to banter although we've never had any on voice.
The Germans we've had are similar, they generally have a left field (but good!) sense of humour and we've never had problems. They are very receptive to banter and also receptive to me trying out my GCSE German on them - nearly always a great bunch.
Irish are similar but again never on voice, generally good craic but a little quiet.
The Polish and other Eastern Europeans have been a bit of a mixed bag for us, we've had some of the best games with them - We had a drunk Polish guy once and we literally couldn't play properly because he was making us laugh so much, with his singing and then sudden screaming when the horde turned up suddenly On the flipside we've had a few rage quitters and plenty of lone wolf types, along with some abusive types.
The French have the lowest fit percentage with us, not sure what it is but we never seem to get on with them very well. Many of them take it very seriously and get upset that we play for more of a laugh.
