That is not really anymore than Dead space 1,
Crysis 2 is rumored to have lower requirements than the first game too, I might be able to run it with out hours of tweaking this time, the wonders of consoleitus

Not surprising really. Played the demo on 360 and it looks pretty much identical (so pretty good). I enjoyed it, seems more focused on combat this time around.

I'll be getting this on the PS3 regardless, played the original on the 360 then on the PC and found the PC version incredibly annoying, dodgy controls and constant mouse problems.

Dead Space 1 ran smooth as silk on my old AMD X2 and 8800GT I just had to turn off Vsync in game and force it on in Nvidia control panel, Crysis pretty much nuked the same set up, and looking on the Steam forums It still does for a lot of people

PC was dodgy as the mouse had an issue with vsync, turn that off and enable in your cards control panel and it's fine I believe.

There's absolutely no mention of Dead Space 2 anywhere apart from the already released system specs. No PC demo, no Steam purchase, unknown if 360 controller support included, etc.

Specs look good, though I think I will be getting it on a console. rather games like this are on the big screen.

I was considering the Collector's Edition for the replica Plasma Cutter. But the only place I've seen it is charging a bit much.

Played DS1 on Hd4870/2GB Ram and stock E8500 ... was smooth game play I believe on maxed settings, with today's Rig won't have problem at all ;)

I really hope they sort out the mouse and keyboard problems with this one. Particularly irritating for me was the inability to re-bind the arrow keys, which as a lefty who has used them since the days of doom and quake for movement is annoying.

It was possible to hack the control file to fix it, but we shouldn't have to manually edit config files to get basic functionality.

Can't decide if I should wait for some (user) reviews before buying this. I have an iffy feeling it's going to be another dodgy port.
