Some review info for the 900w units. Antec haven't pushed any reviews really yet, rather dissapointing.

Conclusion - Antec High Current Gamer 900w

Looking first to the external build quality of the High Current Gamer 900w we have a PSU which stands out from most others due to the red and black colour scheme. The finish is good across each surface and the use of braided covers for each cable is always appreciated. Inside this positive impression continues as we find high quality components throughout, including all Japanese Capacitors, on a Delta Electronics based design. Really the only thing we would have liked to have seen are 105°C capacitors rather than 85°C.

For the design, there is little to fault with the High Current Gamer PSUs. Certainly there is an argument that modular connectors are more desirable and some users prefer a single 12v rail but those are both down to personal preference.

In terms of performance, the HCG-900 produced good results in each of our tests but excellent in two areas. The first was AC Ripple where this model registered some exceptionally low readings and then we had acoustic performance. The noise level when the HCG-900 is running at anything up to 60% load is very quiet and it is only when running at over 800w that it becomes noticeable and to be honest anyone running at that level will likely be using louder CPU/GPU fans anyway.

So that brings us to value. The HCG range starts at £50/$70 and ends with the 900w model at £118/165 which puts it at £10-15/$30 less than the Corsair 850w HX and Cooler Master 800w Silent Pro which seems very reasonable with its 5-year warranty.

Summary
A high quality power supply which runs very quiet. Ideal for gamers using single or dual graphics cards.

Overall the High Current Gamer 900 (900W) PSU proved to be a good performer delivering excellent AC ripple suppression, quiet operation and good efficiency at an affordable price. I was a little surprised to find only one 8-pin EPS12V connector instead of two and only four PCI-E connectors instead of six on a 900W PSU. I suppose most gamers will most likely be interested in powering a single CPU system with dual high-end graphic adapters so supplying the extra cables might be considered overkill.

JonnyGuru has also done their review, a highlight of which is

This is why I'm a big fan of Delta indy regulated designs, people. Those guys just know how to design a power supply. I mean, look at that... the unit went from 4A to 70.8A on the 12V rails with only 1.1% deflection in the face of wildly changing minor rail loads, which themselves were so rock solid only the 5V rail even moved at all. Just try and get picky with that, I dare you

Don't know if you guys want to mention that Delta is the OEM on your site, not sure if you normally mention who the OEMs are, but more and more people seem to be concious of this nowadays

Full Review

BTW do you's have any plans to stock the High Current Pro range? Which I gather is basically the same but with the modular cabling

The High Current Pro range are also higher efficiency, 80Plus Gold.

Here are some other reviews for Antec High Current Gamer range:

The 400W, 520W and 620W are based on Seasonic S12II Bronze designs, so if you can find a review for one of those then you will know roughly how these Antecs perform. I am wondering what the cable lengths are on these Antec units tho.

No theyre not, theyre Delta's as I quoted above, and as it states in the 2nd paragraph of your first link

Antecs Truepower range are Seasonic but these High Currents are Delta

I bought the Antec Basiq 550W without doing any research based on the brand name.

Turns out its one of their Delta PSUs which is rather good, its also modular and multi rail again pretty good features.

Obviously is only really much cop for a single GPU system and for the price there are many alternatives... but for a Delta multi rail modular PSU its not bad, does not have a fancy paint job but is ok.

No, it says that the 750W HCG is made by Delta. Just because one unit in a series is made by one OEM, doesn't mean that all the units in the series use the same OEM.

Here is some evidence that shows the 400W, 520W and 620W versions are Seasonics:

It doesn't say anywhere in those last two links that they are Seasonic, but if you compare them to internal shots of Seasonic S12II Bronzes you will agree that they look similar.
I'm sure if you looked around jonnyguru forums you would see confirmation there.
Such as this:
A user asking who the OEM for the 400, 520 and 620 are:
http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showpost.php?p=63811&postcount=35
And an Antec rep confirming, that they are in fact Seasonic:

Over half way down this page: http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6693&page=4

OK my bad, must admit I did fall into the trap of the series being made the same (as imo they should be) but yes youre right (that theyre not necessarily made by same ppl, even though they should be, lol) Damn them :p

This whole finding out who OEMs for units thing is far too complicated innit. For instance, Corsair changing the OEMs for well established units recently.

I have a feeling that if they had commissioned Delta to make 400, 520 & 620 units, or equivalents, then they might have been more expensive than they turned out to be.

Just like corsair the hx620/hx650 is seasonic while the HX750 and above are CWT, so the antec 750w high current and above are not seasonic but Delta.
