Got my NZXT phantom and now no boot

Reset the BIOS basically. That's another common reason and easy fix for a non booter - dunno why I forgot to mention it. May or may not fix your problem - if not we're into damaged hardware territory having eliminated everything else, I fear. Best consult your mobo manual. There should be a jumper probably with 'Clr CMOS' or something printed by it. It will probably be 3 pins with a jumper over two of them. You would just move the jumper over for 10 seconds then move it back. But check in the mobo manual to confirm. Removing the battery and reinserting it pretty much does the same thing. Hopefully will work - give it a go. You'll lose your overclock settings and have to redo them (or just reload them if you saved a profile).

Do it by removing the battery and power from the board, and then pressing the power button a few times/leaving it for 30 minutes. In the past pressing the clear cmos button, doing a jumper etc hasnt fixed it but just taking it out from all power has.

Can you confirm you have reseated your cpu/heatsink as before I've had a PC not boot because of that.

when I say not booting I mean anything from nothing happens at all up to it BSOD's during boot, unless specified otherwise.

CMOS could well help, if not, try re-seating everything including all power connections. If none of that helps chances are youve broken something somehow. Did you do as suggested and boot without a HDD, RAM or (most) fans, no DVD drive etc. (take out power from drives as well incase its your PSU).

right removed cmos replaced n all same thing powers on for a second cpu fan leds etc. then nothing

i took it out of my old case as a whole build then plopped it in

Are you sure that you have the front panel connectors wired correctly and that you don't, for example, have the power switch wired to the reset header?

I know, but its easy as hell for push pins to come unclipped, or something to shift itself a little and need reseating. Moving my pc from one house to another made me have to reseat stuff.

Worst I've had before was I pushed a pc along the floor from one room to the next (was heavy and i cba to lift it, and it was only like 3m) and the GPU broke and started artifacting to hell :/

found the problem i must have done something or something isnt in right or its faulty i just plugged my old cases front panel connectors in and it booted for a second again so we have ruled out everything

even with no ram it would at least stay on :D
He hasnt yet, ive told him to re seat everything and to try booting with basically nothing plugged in :)

nothing except one stick of ram is in do you want me to take everything apart?

may as well, there isnt much else you can try to be honest. Take it out the case and build it on the motherboard box/bag and then give it a go. This way you can eliminate any possible shorting form components to the case etc. You dont have another PSU you could test with do you? If you do, its worth testing this before/at the same time since its already out the case etc.

Had a PSU kill itself by unplugging it from the mobo and plugging it back in...stupid cable management lol.
