Would those Thermalright TY-140's fit on a megahelims, im considering switching to a pair of 140mm fans on mine, and as PWM is a must theese sound pretty good, however the round design has me concerned a bit, currently running akasa vipers.
Yep, noticed that they have standard 120mm screw holes, though the megahelims clips secure to the fan frame, unlike previous thermalright clips which use the fan screw holes.I'm pretty sure they use 120mm mount fittings.
How are you finding the VX btw mate? From their blurb:
• 12 cm mounting hole–allows installation on the 12 cm dimension, so will be compatible with most coolers without having the need to buy extra kit for 14cm fan.
So setter u get a couple and test, and if they work on the mega, i may get for my VX lol.
Would be interesting, i think that 140mm fans could deliver similair results for a lot less noise, the vipers are very good but loud above 1600 rpm. particularly on the super mega im using, much louder than my old TRUE black. It would be very interesting to compare the TY-140 with Akasa Viper and post the results as I would like to know which one is better. But I don't think the TY-140 will beat the Akasa Viper.
