Facebook security

I don't have 'friends' that I don't want 'spying' on me. I did a cull from about 250 down to about 70 a few months ago.
 
Locking it down to friends only is about as "secure" as you can get afaik, just delete the ones you don't want.
 
You can create groups and limit permissions.

But what gives, why have 'friends' on 'the book' if they aren't actually friends? And what are you doing that warrants being spied on, are you wearing a Brazil shirt?

One of my ex's still is, earlier in the year we had a 'row' and it finished, her e-slap™ was to remove me from facebook.

To coin a phrase on here, derp.

lol, I've got a lot of people on there that used to be friend. Specifically from uni and ex work colleagues.

Few days back I met a friend of a friend and she was like "oh I like your albums from Canada", she wasn't on my friends list. That's prompted this investigation
 
Ex-colleagues get ditched when they become ex-colleagues and I no longer want to communicate with them. You could say their 'ex-communicated ex-colleagues'.
 
All my friends are in categories so if I need to easily display/hide something from a certain group I can do.

I also have a category for anyone that I don't want to see my photos, so whenever I make an album I can add this.

Otherwise I only really have people I know or would speak to so the information that is on Facebook is probably stuff they would know anyway and I don't put a lot of private/personal stuff on there anyhow.

My profile is locked down so I'm searchable and it displays my photo but I think that's it. So someone can find me and send a friend request or a message but can't see anything.

I go over the security every so often as I know they like to add in new things and additional options but it seems ok.

I've changed industry and now run my own company so it's unlikely I will need to, and if required you can always message them without being friends anyway.
 
I have two lists:

- Group A
- Group B

Group A friends get to see stuff
Group B friends basically can only see my profile picture, DOB and email address

It may seem pointless even accepting friend requests from people who go into the latter group, but it means if I happen to bump into them they can't say I didn't accept their request!
