Funnily enough the van that hit me was damaged. In fact, the van got rear ended too and after I told the driver of the BMW that hit the van, that the van had in fact hit me first, I think his words were "I did wonder how a van stopped that quick!". The BMW got hit from behind, too. In fact, there are quite a few parallels to Tom's situation, with the exception of me (the KA equivalent) not pulling out - I had been in the lane for miles.

On later inspection there was some damage to the underside of the boot that required some work in a garage for a couple of days but on the whole Corsa back end V golf front was a big win for the Corsa, maybe its a case of the front crumpling to absorb the damage and back ends been a bit harder.
 
yup, I have, had to miss the first game back of the new year last night!

My "improved" physique caused problems at the hospital yesterday, my shoulders were "too broad" for them to x-ray my 7th (i think) vertabrae properly :\. Queue them asking me (the 500000th time ive been asked this) "you must be a rugby player, right?" :( Never even played rugby!
 
Good spot on the PM, and it was actually about 8.15 anyway otherwise i wouldve been bloomin late for work!
