Hi there

Its been a long time and it is way overdue, but we are once again an official partner with GeIL and as many of you will remember GeIL not only had some of the best pricing on offer but the reliability of their memory was untouchable. Remember GeIL is the only manufacturer to oven bake every memory module they manufacturer and this is why they dropped off for a couple of years as they started dealing with US defence a lot more and supplying a lot of memory to the US.

Now they are back with some old but very popular DDR2 SKU's and we also have a new DDR3 lineup that represents fantastic value and we shall be getting some very nice high-end modules in the next coming weeks.

For now here are the lines we currently have in stock and am sure some of you will remember this first one:-

Just so you know the above kit was so popular that we have sold 35,000 of those kits to the UK market when it originally appeared on OcUK back in August 2006 and whats even more impressive is out of those 35,000 kits only 400 have come back. That might sound like a lot but its sub 2% which is the lowest percentage return rate of any memory we sell and was a major reason why GeIL is so popular. Also this was before they implemented their oven baking process which is said to a dropped their return percentage to sub 1% for faulty items, needless to say truly impressive.

Anyway enough of the history lesson here are the rest of the new lines at very nice prices. :D

There will be faster stuff coming but for anyone building a PC who wants memory that is not only compatible with all motherboards but is one of the most reliable brands out there, look no further, GeIL is back! :)

I had GeIL PC3200 DDR it was bulletproof. Heatsinks look nice and understated, particularly for a blue black silver scheme. I may start looking at 8Gb (2 x 4Gb) with current pricing.

andy.

Had Geil when I was using DDR2...great piece of kit! Great manufacture!

Shame it didn't came earlier as I would get 2x4GB from geil instead of Corsair...

I was using some Geil orange DDR2 stuff as in the picture. It was great for overclocking but it did fail on me. Turns out the case cooling was poor and it was just part of a larger fry-up. Can't fault the memory itself.

Nice one. Had 4x1Gb of Geil stuff when DDR2 was launched. Look forward to seeing some of their more performance orientated products on OcUK, specifically SKU GUP34GB2133C9DC, which should be great with Sandy Bridge. Do you know when you'll be getting the faster stuff in, and will it be as keenly priced to its competitors as the value line?

I've ordered the 6gb kit of 1600mhz DDR3. I have good experiences with Geil memory, so I have all the confidence that this kit will perform exceptionally well in my i7 system.

Just to let you know that the timings for the value plus stuff is incorrect. They should be 9-9-9-28 instead of 9-9-9-24 as per the manufacturers website.

thats ok. I've bought it to go in my gaming system, so in terms of real world gaming performance, there will be no noticeable difference between 24 and 28.
