FIFA 11 online - STOP QUITTING!!

ARGH!!

At least 50-60% of the games I play online with fifa 11 PS3 (random ranked games) people just...quit! It's always when they are loosing, it could be anything from 1-0 to 3-2 etc...but they always quit and its bloody annoying!

I don't do it, i've been beaten before and just accept it.

Sorry, just wanted to vent

Anybody else get this? I'm not even that good, only level 3? I think

Happened EVERY game when your a lower level... When it first came out I had too many people quitting in my classic Burton Albion vs Real Madrid game

You still get the points if they quit on you (but not the goals online) so eventually you work up to not having to play 10 year olds at a game they are terrible at..

im trying to be 'normal' teams but everyone seems to pick barcelona/man utd/man city/chelsea

Every goal a header, I decided to be annoying and started doing kickups in the center circle

He was french as well as he send me a message afterwards (no idea what it said) muhahaha

Once you get to higher ratings there will be far fewer quitters.

However, I have quit before when someone I'm playing against decides to be cocky rather than playing the game normally. I can take a loss and some of mine have been heavy defeats but I'll take them as long as the other player is playing the game rather than trying to **** me off or messing about.

ARGH they just did it again

I was winning 1-0 and it was a pretty even game, he then did a dead ball kick straight to the defence that i managed to get, scored.

Now he's quit

Try the ultimate team mode, I found people a lot less likely to quite as it directly affects the number of coins you earn.

Why doesn't the game count a quit as a massive lose (say 5-0 or something).
That would sort them out.

Its free this year so give it a shot, you basically play games to earn coins and use those coins to improve your team through trading. It's a lot better than the standard manager mode.

Do a 24-hour online probation for match quitters in my opinion, that would sort the vast majority of problems out.

I know how you feel. Would often come across people doing this sort of thing in ufc undisputed 2009.

The lengths some people will go to... Just makes me laugh as its just a game!

I'm level 13 now and even if I am 4-0 up at half time, I never get a quit. Happened all the time when I was lower than lvl 5.

I've quit a few times my self but only when I first started. I used to get destroyed by Barca. Got beat 9-0 then played him again, he scored 2 goals in the first 5 minutes then I quit. lol

The best thing to do is look for games with a low dnf %

The annoyance is they quit every time I score a great goal (and they are few and far between!)

I don't understand people quitting when we are at 1-1 and I score 40 mins in, why quit from that?

Im quite bad, hover around level 9 and 10 forever and I've noticed that the amount of people quitting has actually gone up recently, which is a bit annoying.

I have quite a few whispers from people saying 'Thanks for not quitting' as they destory me 4 Billion to Nil, I just don't see the point in quitting, takes away some of the fun.

My tip is quite simple. Set up your custom match to be maximum DNF 10%. I played a few games before and had nobody quite despite winning three nil.

I only play ranked. Might start playing Custom as ranked players are too good. I've played players that can dribble past all 10 of my outfield players at kick off.
