Moving my 6950 to other PCI-E slot

I have this mobo

Will it make any difference if I move my 6950 down to the other blue pci-e slot as at the moment the card is covering the pci-e 1.0 slot.

I want to add a raid card in that but its currently blocked by the gfx card.

Yep that would be fine.

X58 chipset has the first 2 PCI x16 slots running at the full x16 so it wont make any difference to performance.

I was 99% sure.

But I just wanted some feedback as I CBA to move it unless it was ok
