fao people in their 40's,50's+

One thing I have found

Kids of today are thick (not all, but a large chunk)
I dont worry about life, as one day I will die
and to cap it all off, when I was a kid, most people in the UK were from the UK;):D

OK on topic

I have more grey hair

At 40 my priorities have changed, i've got a child now, less concerned about all the latest gadgets, just want a nice house, food on the table and to be able to spend time with my family.
Don't really keep in touch with any of my old mates from my 20's who i used to go boozing with 3 times a week. Everyones settled down and got their own lives to live now.
Just got a new job in a completely different career to what ive been doing in the UK most of my life.

They're not thick, they just don't seem to care about anything other than the X factor or some similar nonsense.

I expect that when we were kids, 40 somethings were saying similar things about us, and when the kids today are 40 something they will also...

I don't half seem to pee a lot more at 43 than I did at 33, and after 40 you get x10 as grumpy every year and you body aches and strains a lot more too. You also have a very impressive pile of keys you have acquired over the decades that you have no idea about but keep them in case you ever need them for something.

43 here and the peeing depends on the lager intake mostly :) but had to laugh at the keys due to the amount of time I spend trying to find the correct key .... and there is me thinking am the only one !

I feel a "grumpy old men" thread coming on where we can "tut" a lot and comment condescendingly on young people today and what they think they know... :D
