This will be one to watch. Although the specs are nothing special, on par with todays best devices, the form and appearance are appealing with the added bonus of an updated and improved version of the Sense interface.

With dual core phones ready to be released onto the market, and with a recent flood of similar devices, will people be put off from buying right now, instead waiting to see what's around the corner?

Despite my reservations about larger screen sizes and Sense UI in general, this would be the handset i would choose if i were looking to buy right now. Of course you'd have to pry my Nexus One from my cold, dead hands first!

Anyone know whats going to happen with all these LTE devices? Are we just not going to get any of them as we don't have LTE over here or are we going to be buying LTE equipped phones and using them on standard HSPDA? Both possibilities are frustrating! Wish we could hurry up and get 4G already!

This is obviously a major selling point. The article mentions devices heading to European countries with "fledgling LTE networks of their own". I'm pretty sure we're not one of them yet but we want to be!

I've read many articles leading up to the Thunderbolt launch where it went by the name, HTC Incredible HD. Of course i'm only speculating but i wonder if European variants will have that name?

*wants*

That looks a lot like a Legend, but with proper hardware this time. For anyone not very familiar with Legend, it was simply (and still probably is) the best built smartphone on the market (although a little let down by slightly flimsy menu/home/back/seach buttons). The Thunderbolt should be a lovely device. I've often thought they should breed the Desire range with the Legend, and it seems they have.

Also, GSM Arena gives the RAM spec as 768MB, not 512. Hopefully it has the former.
