my mate had one and did a few experiments tonight. its all true. lol at everyone who dismisses this type of stuff because its not "normal" or "realistic".

Is this sarcasm? The article doesn't even support the claims, in fact it's downright sceptical or is this a case of the opposite of whatever the Mail says must be true? The bands may have a pschosomatic effect but it's highly unlikely they actually do anything beyond that.

ive done the experiments. ive seen what they can and cant do. why would i make it up? and its not just pschosomatic, they actually physically make you better at certain things.

strength, flexibility, balance. they're all improved.

In which case presumably it would be possible to prove objectively (double blind tests or something) that it works e.g. perhaps you put a random band round someones wrist that looks like these £30 bands - see if they still find strength/flexibility/balance are improved. If they do then it's evidence that the belief in the value of the band is influential rather than the particular band itself - unless of course it's any plastic band with a hologram that has this impact...

If it's any plastic band with a hologram then what particular benefit does the hologram impart since I don't see people claiming that their Livestrong/breast cancer/Make Poverty History/whatever bands improved their sporting performance. And by golly didn't Lance Armstrong miss a trick with that one by not including a hologram and charging £25 a pop...

Energy stored in holograms and even the manufacturer/inventor doesn't know what it is? If you feel that you get a benefit from it then that's great and I'm happy for you but ultimately the reason for the benefits is almost certain to be psychosomatic.
 
I thought the Law of Attraction was pretty simple?

1.a) If you like them, they don't like you
1.b) If they like you, you don't like them

I know someone who follows this religiously and practices it everyday and it's bought him everything he's ever wanted. Simply just positive thinking and visualising, none of this power band stuff lol.

It's not magical mumbo jumbo but simple proven physics.

Read a book called 'The Secret' or watch the film, but that's incredibly cheesy.

Very interesting to say the least, but takes a lot of effort to practice that i just can't be bothered myself :P
