Best Hip Hop/Rap Album ever?

Big Daddy Kane - Long Live the Kane

Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions

LL Cool J - Radio

Eric B + Rakim - Paid in Full

Souls of Mischief - 93 'til Infinity

Main Source - Breaking Atoms

Marshall Mathers LP...seriously??

Its not even his best album. SS lp was far more hip/hop and still, imo, his best work to date. Although Recovery is a damn good album and return to form, its just not quite a good as SS lp. bother are better than MM lp

It's illmatic, for me.

Also it take's a million, and previously mentioned. BIG - ready to die, NWA - straight outta compton and Doggy style as well. the pinnacle of hiphop, imo

Wu tang Forever is poor. 36 chambers, Liquid Swords, Cuban Linx, Return to the 36 chambers or the first ghostface killer album are all far better albums

I wouldn't call Wu Tang Forever "poor", but those first round of albums (36 chambers, Liquid Swords, OB4CL, Ironman, Tical) are deffo where it's at. Such a classic sound.
