Got to choose a GPU, trying to decide between these, I'm on a tight budget so the cheaper the better.

Asus GTX460 768MB £114

Gigabyte GTS450 with a free mouse pad £101

XFX ATI 6850 with free MoH game £140, although I'd try and sell MoH game for like £20 in the members market so I guess £120.

What should I get?

I dont play any demanding graphic games, mainly RPGs, RTS and TBS tbh.

Or should I wait for GTX 560? Didn't wanna spend much more then £120 thou, although I guess I could just wait till February and order sandybridge now then put card in.

+1 for the ASUS GTX 460 768MB - really great card for the money

When the GTX 560 does arrive I bet it will be more competing at the 6870/6950 price range - so won't really affect your choices in the £120 market.

So that GTX 460 768MB would be better then the 6850? I will sell the game so it's like £114 + £120.

Don't got system yet but buying Sandybridge.

Intel i5 2500k £185
BenQ EW2420 £182
MSI P67A-GD665 £125
Fractal Design Define Artic White R3 £88
Antec TruePower Modular 650w PSU £74
Corsair XMS3 4GB £45
Razer Deathadder £44
Barracuda 500GB 7200RPM £27
Logitech X-140 2.0 Speakers £19
LiteOn DvD Sata RW £15

Total ~£800

Just got to choose a keyboard and gpu basically, will buy SSD when new ones come out

Try a used card? They're a lot cheaper, so you can save a bundle.

Got my last card (8800GTS 640MB) for £9!

I'd imagine a GTX 460 768MB will be slightly behind a 6850 1GB although more so in higher resolutions, but I doubt it will be by much.

Not sure how overclockable the 6850s are either, but the GTX 460 is very highly clockable if overclocking is your thing.

I can't be bothered with that. I always seem to get done when I use ebay

Edit: Yeah I'll get the gtx 460, I hardly game anyway, I could probably even get away with a 5770, just want something that i can rely on in the future so I thought id go for something a bit better.

What ever card you get make sure its the 1Gb version!

768mb is on average 5fps less than the 1gb when comparing the 460.

By the time your buying a new Sandybridge system, dont skimp on the video card, if your a gamer.

Not a gamer, i looked at benchmarks to be fair. I don't play graphic intensive games so the 460 768mb is much more then enough for what I'll need. I'd get the 1gb version but I can't afford to pay an extra £50 for the sake of 5 fps.
