Why are people with iPhone 4s posting pics? The camera on that is considerably better...

3G/3GS both take horrible pictures in low light situations, they're pretty good when out and about in daytime though.

Exactly. The iPhone 4 was a BIG step up in camera quality and it's regarded as one of the better camera phones out now (not including those ones with huge optical zooms and stuff). The 3GS is average at best and only really improved over the now 2.5 year old 3G by adding autofocus...

Because in good light with the image resized to about 800x600 there would be little difference in image quality.

The sensor on the 4 is still a lot better than the 3GS, regardless of the former having a higher megapixel count.

Even so I bet you can't tell the difference between an iPhone 4 pic and a 3Gs pic under the conditions I mentioned

FWIW, here's a photo from my 3GS, resized to 600 x 800...

It's a little noisy as it was taken indoors, but when it's resized you don't see as much noise...
