The choices the moderator team make are in general fair. Remember, we're only people (other than Gilly, who is a Gillbot) and therefore the odd mistake will happen. BUT, if you've an issue you can email / contact one of us. I'm the admin for another forum (a business related one) and have admined / modded several other forums in the past. It can be tricky to for example, decide on if someone is trolling or just arguing.

I was suspended for something and contacted a mod about it (that mod was a pleasure to deal with) yet I saw someone post an image of the very same thing that I was suspended for after writing it in text. Not wanting to get that person suspended but it strikes me as being odd that one person can be suspended for a minor thing yet others can post stuff much worse and nothing be said. I did report it too (not because I was offended but because of the fact that I was suspended for much less an offense).

I don't want to derail the thread so feel free to delete this post.

Remember, the mod team can't see everything, it's impossible. Having people RTM and if you can tell the person "I got suspended for that, maybe you shouldn't post it" might help.

Remember, we can only moderate what we see. The rest is down to you guys to point out to us!

That's exactly what I did and is nearly word for word what I wrote in the RTM, not in the post. I also feel the suspension was OTT which is why I didn't point it out to the poster, but that's a different point.
