One Million Pigs Buried Alive

Reading the article again I do agree with the anger and seemingly the strange actions of the S Korea government.

"Does the holocoust come into anyone's mind? This is the exact same but probably more excruciating as their suffering will be prolonged. Can anyone just imagine the pig's frame of mind? Thrown like dirt into a hole....thousands of your friends thrown on top of you.... and , left? Left to die? And the reason being they contracted a virus. This must mean anyone who catches a cold must be sentenced to death."

All i can see when i look at the pictures is a big mountain of bacon going to waste, surely foot and mouth doesn't effect the good eating bits?
 
I'm still puzzling over the Halal/ignorance thing. I guess that does possibly make me ignorant. The only thing I can think of is that about 0 pigs are slaughtered daily, give or take, in a Halal manner.
 
There's no give or take about it, Muslims and Jews don't eat pork (therefore don't kill it for food). But it was more laughing at the idiotic rant by the person Sky's comment section.

It is, but it's still common knowledge that Humans, Dolphins, Apes are the smartest. For example, Dolphins have sex for pleasure just like Humans. Apes can achieve higher thinking patterns to achieve a goal, for example, the use of tools.

I have a great interest in pigs and a pigs anatomy is very similar to humans, pigs are even used to practise on by medical students. They learn faster then dogs if you try to teach them tricks or if they want something and they even experience emotions such as anxiety/sadness/, some people even think that pigs go to something similar to puberty during their young years where they will act like teenagers.

This is a really sad event it never amazes me how cruel to animals, but in particular asian countries, humans can be.

What's sad thou is this is only in the news because they are pigs. No one says anything about the millions of blue fin tuna fish that the japanese slaughter everyday and are chasing into extinction.

Sorry got a bit carried away there but I do hate when animals are treated like this ^_^

Pigs / Pork are famously forbidden in Islam. However, obviously, the one animal this person has mistakenly left into his list has overshadowed the fact that he is essentially correct.

the Halal method was most certainly more humane for many years but since the instant death of cattle rods etc along with a much more regulated farming industry Halal is barbaric in contrast even tough it has the best of intentions.

Oh right, it was just the pork comment. Thought there was more to it than that, and your explanation about Halal is the way I understood it. It's not incredibly cruel, but there's much better methods so it shouldn't be used.
