The biggest dump you've see on Google Street View

Interesting thread idea!

Man...Ive been looking at all the Google Map links everyones posted.

There sure are some depressing places around in the UK :(

Could try the land registry, judging by the age and the fact that nowts been done to them for a long time i'd guess they're tied up in probate. Some greedy family fighting over the estate of the former residents maybe?

Nicholas van Hoogstraten owns them, they border his property in Sussex, the tenants had sitting rights so he changed the roof to tin and they eventually left, nice man ish, if you zoom out you can see his mansion in part construction

Check out a lot of the towns in America's rust belt. 20%+ home vacancy, lots of run down houses. It all looks like a scene from Fallout 3.

There's worse than that even: I saw a girl called Cigarette Girl which looked as desolate and rundown as Chernobyl. When someone asked the director where he found those locations, he just said "I live in Memphis!"

Here's the trailer btw: http://cigarettegirlmovie.com/index.php/the-trailer/
Not too many outdoor shots so you can see what I mean though :(

No doubt this area in Naples, I wouldn't live in such a tight ****hole if they paid me to !

It looks worse than any of the old soviet crap I've seen in Poland.

Don't be so quick to judge my friend, it's an old city full of character, and for all you know those old houses might've been converted into s****y bachelor pads on the inside. I don't know the particular area, so it might also be inner-city slums full of crime instead, but my point is don't go slate it just cause the streets are narrow, that says nothing! Not all cities were laid out with nice wide streets specifically so that the government can roll tanks down them and squish protesters like Paris, London, Beijing and Pyongyang were! ;) :p
