looking for new motherboard sandy bridge.

Hi there im looking to buy a new motherboard today.
been looking at the Gigabyte P67A-UD7 and Asus P8P67 DELUXE.
ill be using the 2600k cpu and 2x ati 6970 cards in crossfire.
i would really like 2x 16 pci lanes but the gigabyte seem very close
together and will make the top card to hot. what do u ppl think before i hit the buy it now. i know about the asus only supporting 2x8 pci lanes.

The Gigabyte UD7 actually uses lanes 1 and 3 for full speed (16X) lanes so there should be plenty of room

from what i can see with the gigabyte when i use crossfire the first card will be nearly touching the second card. no room between. from what i can see it will be touching the 3rd slot.
