As I need to return the LG monitor I ordered, I am trying to find a courier, however, I have tried interparcel and parcelmonkey, and both listed monitors and non-compensatory for damage.

Does anyone know where I can find someone who will cover damage on monitors?

Post office will cover it , cost might be high tho

I had to return a dell 3008 to OCuk 2 year ago , postage cost 30 , insurance cost for 1050 monitor was about 34 , so 64 in total , then it took 3 months of begging for OCuk to refund my postage costs

As above, Royal mail will insure monitors.

Sending back a 30" Hazro HZ30W to OcUK (insured for £700), cost me £38 (£19 postage and £19 insurance) a few months back.

Yes this is correct. Not all Post Offices offer the Express24 service but I believe all now offer Express48.

OC may not like what I am going to say but, under the sale of goods act, your item must meet certain criteria. If it fails within the first year, regardless if the supplier says anything about manufacturers warantees, the supplier is responsible for either a repair, refund or exchange, which you are entitled to decide. The supplier is also liable for any consequential losses, this would include postage and carriage charges including insurance.

you may have to post it but send them a copy of the receipt you will get. You could aslo ask the Trading Standards Agency for advice too

As above only delivery company I could find that would cover the monitor for loss AND damage was parcel force.

Most of the main couriers refused to insure against damage and would only insure against loss.
