Whats the area like around high street, Brentford? And what the travellodge/premierinn around kew brodge are like?

TIA

Brentford's not the nicest area in the world, but it's not that bad.
There are certainly a lot worse places that's for sure.

The high street is a bit of a dump. The Travelodge has nothing around it. It you want restaurants/pubs catch a bus to Richmond/Chiswick/Ealing.

The mcdonalds is probably the highlight of brentford. It has good bus connections to nicer areas.

Get an e2 to ealing, a 65 from kew bridge to richmond, or a 237/267 to chiswick.

The star attraction on the high street is the Beehive pub. :D. You can also get a 65 to Ealing from the hotel.

i think the only thing of note in Brentford is that GSK global headquarters is there, and it's a stones throw from Chiswick which is awesome.

Will only be using the hotel to sleep in really then.|
Not to up on London
Whats good to do Chiswick/Ealing?

i don't know about Ealing but Chiswick is just a nice place, upmarket with nice coffee shops and the likes.

Chiswick has a nice mix of cafes/restaurants/pubs, Ealing has gone downhill.
Hey! Ealing's alright! :p

From there I'd go down to Richmond to be honest. I live in Ealing and quite often go for a mooch around Richmond, it's pretty relaxing with it being by the river and all. Plenty of cafes and restaurants too.

Ealing is not as good as it was but Richmond is the best choice.

I think it’s just turned a little seedy apart from the area around Bond Street.

I sort of get what you mean, West Ealing isn't too nice either.

I've noticed on some nights there's literally Police everywhere, near Ealing Broadway station and near the high street.
