***OcUK Secret Santa 2010 - The unWrapup***

It still could be down to the courier/post office.

I finally got an item I ordered on 3rd December on Friday on another item I ordered on 17th December today. Both via UPS.

Also I got another christmas present which I ordered on 10th December last Wednesday via Parcelforce.

In addition I was talking to a friend who works for a courier company who said at the York depot for the last two weeks leading up to Christmas they were rejecting the trunk delivery everyday (new parcels) as they had more than enough parcels backlogged to deliver before Christmas.

So perhaps there is still hope although I suspect some people really haven't bothered which is disappointing.

How did I miss that... I guess will be heads up for next year :) got to put a reminder somewhere... ekhm... but where's my phone ;)

Look what the postman delivery this morning, the pics were taken on my iFail sorry. :D

The box was quite heavy! :o

My Grandma was in the room when I unwrapped it so thank God it wasn't a thong, a set of crotchless panties or a double ended 12 inch *****. :p

The body wash smells a bit minty, I'll use that once I've finished with the open bottle of Lynx that I've got atm. But I'll be using the body spray immediately as it smells gorgeous. Thanks Santa. :)

I'd be interested in taking part next year if:

1-Recorded delivery is essential
2-There is a definite price ceiling, to avoid me feeling like a cheapskate. :p

Yeah I'd also go with the price ceiling, I'd say maybe around £20 is a sensible limit, it offers loads more quirky or interesting items than the recommended £10 does. :)

Id like to say a super duper sorry to Greebo for not posting this sooner, I had the photo taken aaaages ago but i totally forgot to upload it :o

Anyhoo as you can see my haul was rather impressive, sorry for the rubbish mobile pic but hopefully you can see the Swisstech Utili-key, the 6-in-1 Solar Kit and theres also a set of impossibly hard Origami Post It Notes, much too fiddly for my sausage like fingers! :D

Thanks again matey :)

Those origami post it notes are what I was gonna get my guy. I ended up settling on a male inflatable doll complete with chest hairs.

:D you have excellent taste sir! The post its are very annoying tbh, the instructions are very difficult to follow in some cases:

1. Fold in half - Done

2. Fold in half again - Wahay done

3. Somehow end up with a dodecahedron the size of a stamp - FFFFUUUU

I managed to make a pig but that took 4 post its...

This is great to see them finally arriving and hopefully will give hope to the other, albeit few people yet to receive a gift.

I'll hold out until Friday for the last of them to arrive.

Glad you like them. How's the util-key? Is it as useful as it looks? I quite fancy buying one for myself.

Have you made all the robots yet?

The utilikey will be quite handy i imagine, theres a small blade which would be useful for opening packages etc and the screwdriver bits will prove useful im sure, it can be a bit fiddly to open though. I havent had a need to use it properly yet, but i know the need is there if you know what i mean? :)

Ive made 4 of the 6 solar things, the windmill pictured, the plane (the best one imo) the dog (disappointing) and the car. Im keeping it on the plane for the meantime as i like watching it whizz round :D

That's what appealed to me about the utilkey, you'll always have it on your keyring in times of need;)

Glad you liked the solar panel kit. It looks like it was the no1 SS gift this year on ocuk.:D

Still nothing for me, and no word on whether my recipient has had his present...

However, I'm waiting on loads of stuff from various interwebshops, so SS isn't the only late thing at the moment.
