Open, closed, in ear, on ear, budget, main use, amped/unamped?

Im just a casual gamer that users xfire,msn. I dont need anything fancy, but dont want anything too cheap and nasty. Closed and over the ear would be nice...

NS1000's are worth considering... They're closed and cheaper than HD25's... and HD800's!

Aye they're ok, been the odd issue with QC lately and I noticed a slight hissing when using the built in noise canceling but they're good for £50.

If your not interested in a mic then I honestly could not recommend the Marshall Majors more! Excluding those theres cans from the likes of Beyer, Sennhesier and Shure.

Ohhh, its gotta have a mic. I think i should have said headset and not just headphones, sorry guys. So many to choose from, so many reviews, been reading for 3 days now,lol. Thanks for putting me in the right direction though, really appreciate it.

That's fair enough, but just so you know, in terms of sound quality from the headphones, you get waaaaaay more bang for your buck if you buy a pair of headphones and a sound card and buy a seperate mic, than you do for buying a headset, however headsets have everything all in one.

And because of your requirements I would recommend the Corsair HS1, OcUK stock them, you didn't really specify a budget, they are a bit pricey, but the reviews are good.
