Personally I'm sick to the teeth of servers/admins that enforce these rules... the game was released with certain weapons in it and players have developed certain tactics that help them win the game. The best games I've played of BC2 have been on totally relaxed servers where anything goes and even baseraping can be dealt with by a good team.

Wait a second....so 2 tracers have to hit it for one to stick? I am sure I have seen many occasions where multiple consecutive hits of tracers did not 'stick' - although on each occasion the chopper 'divested' the first tracer before the second one hit.

I am confuse :confused:

Also, the AT4 is notoriously hard to hit, especially with a pilot who knows how to jink while his 2 gunners unleash hell :(

No.

the smoke recharge is very fast though now, so you want 1 engi to trace, try to lock on if the pilot smokes they other engi fires tracer and then they try an lock on an shoot down, that way the smoke will not be recharged intime to get the second one off.

Also, the AT4 is notoriously hard to hit, especially with a pilot who knows how to jink while his 2 gunners unleash hell :(

Prctice, rifle must be close to 1 in 3/4 shots hitting now.

Lolxbox. I'm sure i've fired at people with those things and never got a single hit despite peppering them with the grenades. Maybe i need to be closer. Also i'm sure the recharge time is longer on PC. And of course the big difference that it isn't full of people completely oblivious to this minicopter flying around in front of everyones faces so you'd actually get shot down.

Then perhaps the number of jeeps is the problem, not the tactic. As said if you can't blow the jeep up before it hits you thats your own fault. Other than Bronken i've never seen *anyone* do it on BC2 as a strategy for taking out vehicles. People do it in lame attempts to take out MCOMs (normally with choppers which is a fantastic waste of them) but never vehicles.

That doesn't sound that good :p

I'm starting to get better at hitting it when they get closer but other than that its still awkward.

NEVER suicide a chopper, it's a complete waste of an extremely useful resource

2) if a medic near you dies (on your team or not), equip off him, revive him with his own paddles, drop a health pack and cover him.

Can be VERY annoying to be constantly revived into a hail of bullets constantly, like so many medics do

8) think about your spawn position. it may be a better idea to spawn a little further back or off to the side rather than finding the squad member furthest up. he may well be in the middle of a ****storm and you don't want to dump into the middle of one of those...

11) running out of tickets in a rush round? dont forget you can destroy the mcom by shooting at it and planting C4/mines etc. go engy or recon and try to blow it up if you're running out of time and can't get in close enough to plant a fuse.

That can actually be more suicidal than trying to arm it normally
14) engineers - use your tracers! nothing worse than a HIND or tank being allowed to roam the map for 15 mins taking your whole team out. trace that bitch and then take it out! no reason a tank or chopper should survive longer than 30 seconds if you know how to take them out.

Unless the pilot is any good
16) recons - your Q finger should be bleeding by the end of a round. if you're not spotting everything you possibly can all the time then you ought not to be playing recon. and don't forget, you don't need to physically see an enemy and THEN spot it - when you're creeping around just mash the Q key and occasionally you'll reveal an enemy you didn't even know was there. this is particularly useful when the map is full of smoke and debris.

Hardly any suicide truckin needed in BC2 as the vehicles freewheel so well, unlike in BF2 where u had to be on board until target. It's also a great distraction technique to send a fully loaded ATV into an enemy flag point at top speed and blow it up while they look for the cause of the explosion ur sneaking done the side ;)

I miss the BF2 dune buggies tho :D
 
The whole C4 on jeeps thing was done to death in 1942, but nobody complained. Infact, the contrary happened when BF2 hit the shelves and Tanks were uber, and quite a few people complained that they couldn't do it anymore with smaller vehicles because they would stop nearly instantly.

Funny i'd say the same thing about butthurt admins who can't learn to counter it so instead kick/ban people who kill them to make up for there own lack of skills...

Spawning on Tefal isnt that bad...

Spawning on Tefal after he's got in a Jeep or Quad Bike is suicidal :p
 
I'm sorry but if people can use insurgency tactics in real life then I will use insurgent tactics in a videogame. End of.

So if you see a C4 strapped Quad coming at you, you better aim good, my friend. You better aim good.

Its not lack of skills at all. I always jump out of my Tank if a c4 jeep gets through to me and then when they are suprised to find an empty tank they are an easy Target also I lay mines strategicaly.

I Know very well how to counter SIR so jam your asumptions where the sun dont shine if you please.;)

I wasnt a Butthurt admin either I was pretty lenient as it goes. The guy that paid for the server had a vote on the rules and we as admins had to see that they were abided by.

You don't really strike me as someone that is that awesome at the game to be honest. Do you have a link to your stats?
