I did something i was proud of last night

This bloody heli was shooting at us, so i aimed my m** sniper rifle at the pilot and fired!. It actually hit!, the drivers head bowed down and the helicopter just fell out the sky. Utterly brilliant, everyone in the heli was impressed. Haven't done it again though, but it's the small details like that which have an impact in this game

On that BF2 there are vehicle time padding servers where people will just sit in a Tank for 8 hours to get some stupid badge or something ?

The mind boggles !

Yeah, killing the pilot like that is awesome when it happens :)

Yeah. The BF2 stuff was quite rife, though still not as bad as some games. At least in BC2 most people seem to be more concerned about playing the game rather than padding stats.

I think that the main reason people dont care to stats pad in BFBC2 is because you can unlock weapons and rank up more quickly than in BF2.

I played BF2 none stop for over 2 years and I still havent unlocked evryweapon or attained a very high rank. (I'm Staff Seargent I believe) missed out on that godamn Knife Badge:mad::p

I'm happy with BFBC2 though Ive got what weapons I want so dont really care about rank.

Its just a Buzz when your on form and racking up some decent kills.:D

I reckon it took me nigh on 4 years and nearly 1800 hours to get 3 star General in BF2. Much more longevity. Pity BF3 is not going to be the same. :(

I always prefer to play as engineer in BF2.

I want BF3 to be exactly the same as BF2 but with nicer graphics and destructable environments.
 
Well atleast you didn't get a global ban in BF2, i played every day and night while i was out of work. Then when i didn't play it for a year i came back to a global ban because i was hacking during the time i wasn't playing it lol. Thing is with EA they are like Blizzard it's VERY difficult to prove your name. Apparantly my username was ip spoofed so i got an instant ban.

I swore never to play BF2 again, luckly i got it for a fiver and played again but i've NEVER been a fan of punkbuster. Too many people hack and cheat but those that are inocent get shafted
 
Interesting to see some people with much higher KDR in BF2 than BC2. I always found it a pain to get kills in BF2, always felt like I would take them down to low health and someone else would get the kill.

C4'ing any vehicle and then suiciding it is great fun, especially love dropping helis on tanks. It's a shame the C4 is bugged and occasionally you just keep throwing the stuff rather than detonating it.

I swear the xm8 lmg is completely unbalanced for some people and not me.

Was playing a bit yesterday with the xm8 and even though i was blatantly shooting people in the head they weren't dying, whereas some guy would shoot me in the toe from 300m away and i would die in one shot :/.

On the plus side, some guy kept trying to knife me when i was sniping on heavy metal (New conquest map) and every time i managed to no scope him :D
