Is there any reason im finding it practically impossible to track down a 8 socket surge protected extension that has a cable of 5meters or longer.
Is there law or something as I found 4 socket on 4meter :p

right now I have a 5m single socket extension from the plug to the pc then the 8way belkin surge protector on that. Seems a little dodgy to me but its been like that for years. Just wondered if there was another way.

Well Belkin SurgeMaster, 8-Way, Tel/Fax/Modem Protection, 4m Cable is the closest I found to what you wanted.

Hedge beat me to it it.

I like the idea of one and the Price so Im ordering one myself right now, sick of farting about with plug extensions. This one looks the business (i found same belkin one as anuraj from a common retailer website)

No probs, it made me spend 16 quid though damnit lol.

Probably didnt need one of these but it looks handy and the price aint bad.

No problem. Hedge I found it for a £14 in another site that starts with an a and is very popular for making kindle.

Well I couldnt resist but its too short damn my layout stupid 60s designers as I suspected to not run across the floor its 1m to short

Guess my dodgy setup will do :D

omg hedge thanks for finding that, going to try the ebay cheapo and if that doesnt cut it will grab that on at 30 quid

your my hero <3 :D

How are you with electronics? As what I do, is open it all up, unwire the wire from each end, and wire in a new cable that's whatever length I want it to be (You'll want to make sure it's a decent mains cable you replace it with though).

My belkin 8 way one arrived today. Pretty good quality tbh!, cant see me using the phone line stuff but the rest aint bad at all! :)
