ahhh :D

just done a job that was completely out of my skill boundary as i have no knowledge on such things. ( car internal electrics )
i read up on it, took items apart bought items and replaced, put it all back together and turned it on and hey presto ! it works, i was chuffed with myself and further more my boy ( 3 ) sat with me watching, and when he saw it worked clapped his hands and said " oh daddy your so clever " lol

thought i'd share with my fellow GD friends

I stripped down our lasses netbook, it was awful and cramped, and put it all back together again.

It didn't fic it, I needed a new power pack for that, but it proved that I'd put it back together again correctly :p

No screws left over either!

I just broke the motor in a shredder by putting a CD through it, even though it claims it can take a CD.

Can you fix it ??

It is a nice feeling. Ignore the mud slingers. :)

Nothing better than doing a job well, doing it yourself and exceeding your own expectations.

I done a giant poo which was too big to flush

I exeeded my own expectations, I was chuffed

Good feeling isn't it? After a while you realise fixing things isn't as hard as it seams, especially once you get the hang of soldering. :)

I tracked your broken poo until it reached its destination. I was puffed.

But I did take apart and fix a lock at the weekend and I was chuffed.

I read this frankly quite inane and inconsequential post on a forum, and I'm now reading up on how I can get it removed, to the mutual satisfaction of many.

Wish me luck.

Fixed my hoover the other day. Was hoovering the living room and realised that it wasn't picking up as good as it should.

Stripped down the bit that goes on the floor and sucks up the dirt and managed to put it back together with nothing left over. Was quite pleased with myself till I realised it still wasn't working. Turned it on and flicked the rotating brush with my finger and hey presto it works again.

Yay for cheap hoovers :(

It's a "General Discussion" which means items generally worth discussing. End of.

Actually it means Discussion of a General nature that doesn't fit in the more specific sub-fora. There's lots of stuff generally worth discussing in the other fora too. End of. :p
