Hi !

i'm looking for a monitor in order to replace my 6 years old 17".
So i'm looking for a 22" at least, in price range of 100-200 pounds.

I have read some test on LCD monitor but i can't find them on OcUk. So if someone can advise me one, according to your experience or knowledge (or whatsoever). It could be nice.

Thank you.

that £15 is worth it, IPS panel screens like the one I recommended are a lot better than TN panel screens

IPS I would say I'd only get if not gaming as main / 80% usage.

Only benefit IPS has is better viewing angles mainly vertical and better colours etc ie for a work monitor.

Just get the cheapest samsung 24" you can find.

I'll spend the most of my time playing i think. Even if I'm a computer scientist (student). So I'm ready to hear all your offer !

Is all your use going to be sat right in front of the screen ? if yes I'd say a tn film would be fine just a matter of choice really wish I could recommend one right now but cant see any good deals around might be worth holding out for a deal on a Samsung BX2450.

I'd probably go with the Samsung P2450H if I had £200 for a monitor right now and couldn't bide my time.

Or that IPS panel as mentioned above but I'd check to see what the ghosting is like on it if any first as some cheap IPS panels come at a cost of not being so great for gaming.

It's a solid all-round performer with decent build quality. Pretty good for the price and comparable to the B2430H but slightly smaller and currently cheaper.

not really a problem since it's got the same panel as the U2311H
