Looks very good indeed.

Heard rumors of that board dying, but not read anything about it - so assume its fine! :p

Enjoy!

Im confident it will all work out especially with the 1.5v GeIL ram to avoid breaking the cpu. I've heard a lot of different things about the boards and cpus but if something were to go wrong RMA for the win.

That's a great system you ordered there mate, enjoy :D

I would have gone with the 850w psu as its only £6 more :)

I went to subway after the first pic :P

All I can say is, Modular PSU is the way to a happier life. Its a little messy unforunately due to awkward positioning of the components I cant do much more. Im installing board drivers and graphics atm, once thats done ill need to figure out why my memory is only running at 1333Mhz.

Unless you've overclocked your ram, or changed its settings then 1333Mhz is its default in an Intel rig.

Cable management is horrible. Could try tucking cables behind mobo try, and beneath graphics card?

unfortunately the cables arent long enough to put round the back and plugin and the spares are too big to get the back on again.

Right could you explain in one sentence what the SB does, I read and article telling me it was basically a cpu and a gpu combined in one, but then you have your own gfx card?

Or is it like the onboard gfx cards in motherboards, that get superceeded?

I agree on the modular, right now I have brought a non modular thanks to low budget, man I wish it looked as nice as my old cable management did!

Looks a great build.

To be honest theres lots of different things SB does and I dont know enough about each to explain them. I went SB because I needed a new pc and it seemed worth it to hang on for an extra 6 weeks for the newest most shiney...er technologically advanced CPU I could get.

The built in graphics are basic, mostly useful for netbooks and basic media. If you want to play games a dedicated graphics card is always a must.

I managed to get my RAM up to 1600MHz, had to change the ratio option in the bios and upped the voltage to 1.55. All my modern games are Digital Download so can't unleash the power until then, going to run a 3dmark see what I get.
