Dungeons - upcoming Dungeon Keeper-style strategy game

Its a shame they couldn't get hold of the IP rights so they could make it actually Dungeon Keeper, instead its going to be a game 'similar to Dungeon Keeper'. Which hopefully will be able to keep most of the elements from the original game in-tact :3
 
Oh man, I hope this is on par with DK2. I only discovered that game last year, another masterpiece from Bullfrog.
 
I remember playing dungeon keeper 2 loads this looks like it could be good, i liked that you got special levels on certain dates of the year or if it was a full moon or something like that if i remember right.
 
Yeah, there were so many hidden features and easter eggs in the DK games. Like some others in this thread though, i'm not sure anyone but the oldschool Bullfrog can do this justice.
 
I used to play dungeon keeper 2 a lot so will be interesting to see how good this game is, the game trailer doesn't give much away.

Hope it's good, will be nice to have something different to play
 
Search here for the Dungeon Keeper FX thread if you fancy playing through a modded version of the original which works on Vista/Windows 7. :)

Also watch out because the latest patch ruined the game some what and stoped black knights and i think dark angles being able to be recruited throug hthe portal after a certain point in the missions. The only way to remedy it is to overwrite some files with the orginal install.

You can install the DOS version in DOSBOX and it works just as well - you can even turn on the High-Res graphics, something I was not expecting.

I loved the first game as well, I'll be surprised if this gets released though - surely EA will probably try and crush it?
 
Been keeping an eye on this as I was a big DK fan. Added it to my Steam wishlist to monitor.

Any rumour of a demo?
