So I've got a haf-x case a p8p67 pro mobo a coisair hx 750w power supply radeon 6950 gfx card, ocz sata ssd and a DVD drive and I've hit a brick wall there's not enough slots to plug everything into :( this is my first solo build and I've got no idea how it's all ment to go together I've followed user guides and I'm still coming up short :(:(:(

well with that kind of info no one is going to be able to help you, have you connected both 24 and 8 pin power connecters?what cables do you have that you can,t find a place for?

whats the full specs, is the 6950 the ONLY card that you are slotting into the board?

how many sticks of ram?

How you think you haven't got enough slots for stuff is??????

can you take any photos and post em here? and CLEAR/NON-BLURRY photos!!!!

The psu has both 24 and 8 pins. The DVD drive seems to have nowhere to source power from( having to use an IDE to sata adaptor) the ssd hold on the haf-x has a 4 pin power section, cables I've got are 4x pci 8 pins 8x 4pin peripheral connectors and 2x floppy connectors

The psu will have modular cables with all the SATA connectors you need.

tried looking in the psu box?

well pretty much done now just need to plug the monitor into the mobo and install windows 7, then my Graphics card, then transfer all my old hard drive data over, then throw the old HD away for being old and crap, THEN sell my bits on ebay, one question i might as well ask though is, if im changing my 6950 to a 6970 with the bios trick when i Xfire it next week will i need to redo it?

handy so basicly all ill need to do is re bios the second then :D

The motherboard will hopefully auto switch the internal pci-e express lanes anyway, all you should have to do is insert the second card, attach power, and the crossfire bridge.

Last question finished installing windows 7 and I get an error message of warning CPU temp high and it's at 87oc which is odd cause it's only just been turned on the fan is secure (hate the new attachment for it caused no end of hassle with 2 pins bending out) is this normal when u first start it or should I worry?
