The *Official* Eve Online Thread

thats what i meant by refusing the ones i cant do, and even if i refuse 10 ina row, my corp standing may drop to 3 (need 8.6 for L5) but my faction standing means i can still run them

If your new to the game it is really going to spoil a lot of the initial gameplay having 100m to spend :/

That's an insane amount of ingame cash for a new player, and you'll completely remove the challenge and satisfaction of saving to afford to buy anything for the first few months of the game.

Well ocuk corp itself will be mainly focusing on incursions, while training new players into EVE.

The big picture is to build the corp and essentially the alliance so that we can all have a nice tea party and other group activities. Not sure about mining but we'll be looking to do a lot more varied activities than that of which currently exist as an option to the alliance.

Hope to offer advice and making some experts of the new guys who will in turn train other players.

We no longer wish to be a non pvp alliance anymore as it has been before, but would like to help people incorporate it into their activities, whether it be to actively participate in pvp or to completely avoid it, you still need to know how pvp works.

We would like to promote the fact that even if you think you are safe, do not presume or get complacent because you are in hisec minding your own business. People will find you and try to get kill you (loot is a bonus), we have seen this trend increasing to some degree because more poeple now play.

So if anything we hope to teach you about the more indepth pvp workings of the game and to keep you on the ball, that is our real goal.

Sounds kind of daunting to the new player, but we're not forcing anyone to pvp despite the above, we just want to share out knowledge on how NOT to get killed, even if you're a miner/industrialist. And in avoiding getting killed you will need to know how people hunt regardless.

And if they wish to go down the pvp route, we already have a corp in place that does all that.

how much more have you heard about the iincursions?
We tried a few on the test server in empire (0.6) with a pretty low escalation one and i lost a corpum fit abaddon in about 20seconds o.O

MEGA logistics needed methinks

Sure, just not in my fleet lol

Don't think my corp will run these but I'll put my logi alt forward to help you guys if you need another, would like to give it a go.

its nice to get a full set of lvl4 or whatever implants though

Wow, I don't know how I've missed this thread all these years! However, I'm a fairly new EVE player, only been playing a couple of months or so and I am currently in EVE University. However, I'm looking to leave for a "proper" corp in the not-too-distant future, and wondered if the OcUK corp is recruiting?
