Contemplating booking a mini-break in Paris over Easter but one concern I have is about how Easter Sunday / Monday will affect things? Does anyone know the impact this will have on things like:

-Transport (specifically metro)
-Tourist attractions
-Cafes / Restaurants

I suspect as a major tourist venue the impact shouldn't be too much, but I don't know what the deal is with religious holidays abroad. I don't wanna end up being there and find we're not able to enjoy the city to its fullest.

Also another consideration could be if because of Public holidays the city gets rammed full of tourists at that time of year, maybe it would be a time to avoid?

Cheers.

I was there a few days ago, and the Eiffel tower was only open up to the second floor. It said it will reopen fully in February sometime :)

I cant see that things will be any different from normal on those dates, the locals will still be grumpy , unhelpful and outright unpleasant and Paris will still be a horrible hole that you will want to avoid at all costs
