Your connected to the web alright whilst FF is playing up? Email client works? Ping works from terminal?

I'm on release 5.0.3 build 6533.19.4 and have never had an issue with it. What plugins have you got loaded? Have you tried disabling them?

Im connected to internet and mcbook is connected to router. Happens with google at times then trying to get on here says i cant connected due to not being connected to internet, but go to say facebook and it works. Sorry this happens using Safari, since using Firefox all has been fine.

Anyone have a problem where you cannot close a tab by clicking on the little x?

I'm not sure what it might be, Safari or mouse related (but only happens in Safari) but sometimes the little x will NOT do anything.

If, however, I select a different tab and then try to close the tab I wanted it will work?

Meh.

My safari does this sometimes. Both on 'pad and magic mouse. If i wiggle the mouse, or select something else, then it finds the X as clickable as normal again.

Chrome is good, but I prefer Safari on OS X.

Won't use anything else on Windows though :)

Same here. I have a strong preference for using the most native feeling software on an OS. Unfortunately on Windows, IE is simply too ugly (among other things) so I must use Chrome :D

Absolutely the same.

I have Firefox for the extremely rare occasions Safari lets me down. Nothing is 100% perfect but I don't see the need of going to chrome as they are both based on Webkit anyway!
