As title really. I've been given a £20 gift voucher and struggling to decide what to get. What i'd ideally like is to spend the money 'well'. By this i mean that nearly everything in HMV is just a big more expensive than other websites, i'd like to try and buy stuff that's as close to other websites as possible to get the best bang for my buck.

My current thoughts are:
Leon (Blu-ray)
Star wars 4/5/6

Comes in at £23, but i could get those two elsewhere for less which makes me think i should look harder.

Any better suggestions? Reel off anything that you think is good, can be foreign or any genre aside from romantic comedy. I'll watch nearly anything.

I've got £22 on a gift card and am in the same dilemma!

I keep trying to find their Blackadder boxset (it's only £17 on the website) but can't find it in stock anywhere :(

Sell it to a family member or friend who will shop at HMV for close to, or at, face value.

Then spend the money on something you really need.

No chance, i love films and tv serials so this is the perfect gift for me. It's just hunting for the items that are competitively priced on HMV that gets me as some really, really aren't.

In that case, I presume you just missed their January sales!

I think that the Star Wars boxset will be a good buy, great films those!

Nope, still on the tail end of the sales :D

Star wars is looking more and more like a must buy at £14.

£14 looks very good. Is it the special edition that comes with the silver box and everything? If so, I believe my parents paid much more than double that for it a couple of years ago!

I'd keep it for one of the HMV exclusives such as HMV only steelbook blu rays but not everyone is fussed about the packaging :o

Well that sucks, I have £65 worth across two gift cards, even during the sale, my local had nothing I wanted... well, just gonna hold out for new releases then!
