Is metal gear online dead ?

Every time I try to log in I get presented with an Error message.

I looked on the webb but cant find any info.

You think that they would at least say wouldnt you.

Last time I tried you needed 2 ID's or something. PSN and Konami, just made it too difficult to play.

The online was fun but the stupid Konami login or whatever it was made it a pain in the ass. I don't think it ever had hundreds of thousands playing it online but you should be able to find a game. Although the single player is so long and epic that I've never even had the urge to bother getting into the multiplayer.

The online was decent enough espically when using the skin mags around a corner and get 2-3 run into them, nice easy kills, but as ppl said the login was a bit of a joke, cant even remember my konami login now.

Well I give up on it. Stupid error messages.

I even changed my password etc and still says log in error.

It just says login error wrong username and password. My User name and password are correct because I changed them on the konami website.

I even made a new account with a different email adress etc.

I'm guessing that they closed all the servers down and are too lazy to tell anybody.

It's working fine here, there's just under a thousand people online.
