Hi guys im going to order one of these Noctua NH-D14 for the MSI P67A-GD65 but just want to check if it fits ok without touching and parts on the motherboard. Any one else using same combination

Fits on mine, your ram cant be taller than about 44mm though. The g.skill ripjaw x fits.

Decent cooler as well, keeps my 2600k at 4.4GHz, 1.3v at about 55-62c.

Yeah you have to be careful on your ram clearance. I'm running my ram in slots 2 and 4 and the first one is restrcited by my heatsink fan.

Fit's fine as others have said the front fan completely covers all of the ram slots and can't really remember exactly but I think the heatsink covers only the closest to cpu slot so the ram heatsinks will have to be short. Fits perfect with ram with no heatsinks though.

I have an i7-2600k on an MSI P67A-GD65 with a Noctua Nh-D14 cooler. Clears the motherboard just fine, only ram clearance to think about, I went for the xms for that reason.

The cpu is at 4.9ghz overclock and prime load temps of 72C/74C

Ok thanks, it will perform better than mine I'm sure, just not sure by how much, if it's just a couple of degrees I wouldn't bother changing. I sit after an hour of prime at about 61 degrees and IBT 10 cycles at about 72 degrees. I have xms ram so no problem there though then. I just started folding and am sitting after 34hours of running it at 59.1c average, highest temp was 63c. So my temps arnt high but would like them cooler if possible.

Have been folding for 3 days solid, so 100% cpu used and getting a max temp of 51c with the same settings of 4.6ghz & 1.3v. So 8c less with the D14 and it's quiet. Very easy to fit too, thanks all.
