Don't post on here much anymore but thought I'd share my new car with you all. Exactly the same spec as Adam's on here. Ordered in November so had quite an exciting wait for this. Still got the Mondeo undecided what to do with it yet :)

It's a Clio 200 in Albi Blue

Spec :

Cup Pack
RS Monitor (more about that here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y3jz_fPvjk )
Speedline Alloys in Satin Black
Albi Blue Paint
"Full Fat Renault Sport" AC etc

The car just hit 600 miles this morning a lot of this is from the drive home from picking up the car! , so technically should be run in according to the handbook, I should now be able to explore the full rev range, I've had jolts up to higher revs but have had to stick to 3-3.5k to be on the cautious side. That's just me some people like to thrash it from the go. Not me.

Anyway I'm loving the car it's a completely different beast to the 172 I had a year or so back. The cornering and handling is superb and even manages to put a smile on my girlfriends face in between her moaning the ride is too harsh, very easy car to drive quick and feel comfortable doing so. It just stick like **** to a stick.

The exhaust is surprisingly raspy for a standard car but it's nothing I didn't expect, I love it.

The RS monitor I added as an extra is a bit of a gimmick but it's quite fun to have anyway. So yea really happy with the car, here are a few pictures (sorry the cars a bit filthy)

I love it! I never thought I'd like that but it's nice! Especially the colour

And I'd definitely crash driving that, I'd be too busy looking at all the stats!

Enjoy it mate

It does give you a warning before you activate it, they can be distracting :p

It also has a lap timer which I forgot to photograph. I'll go get some quick pics of interior.

Yea sorry Pete been mad busy! I'm trying to work out the best date for you to come down and help me shift this builders crap, I'll get back to you soon.

Oh and yea I may require your detailing services in the future ;)

Very nice! What is the interior quality like compared to the previous Renaultsport Clios? The 200 looks very nice, as did the 197, 182 and 172, but the interior in them was terrible (style and quality wise) and i could never live with it.

It's a lot better than previous models, obviously it's still Renault plastic so it's not the best but I can live with it. I didn't get the car to sit and stare at the interior :)

I'll go and get some int pics up quick

That's actually nice! I hated older Clio interiors, they were one of the most boring out there but that's a big improvement

Have to say, this is a twoblacklines quality photograph ;)

Looks more like two brown lines to me ;)

I appreciate the car but I dunno fi I could go back to an interior like that with a long gear stick and van like driving position. Being sat low in the MX5 feels great, I think I'd feel like I was driving a noddy car if I went back to something like that.

Who's that Pete, not up to date with Motors craic I'm afraid.

You can help me get some nicer pics if you want. You have the gear :)

Tom you need to get a clue immediatley!!!

He's took the pics down now but basically is was a thread dedicated to pictures of his car, yet the photos were terrible. Only about 20% of the car was in frame. (And it was dark!)

I'm glad the colour has good a good response, I wasn't sure at all I took forever decdiding between this colour (Albi) and a Silver/Grey (Nimbus) the blue tends to stand out a bit more though and has an ever so slight purple tinge in certain lights it's really quite amazing how many different shades of blues it seems to have under different lighting.

Oh and Pete bit of afternoon reading on that now :)
